Premier Limited has announced that deliveries of their new compact SUV Rio, BS4 compliant vehicle, fitted with a 1.3 liter multijet diesel engine sourced by the company from Fiat India Automobiles Limited commence from 2nd August 2012. The new SUV Rio will be available at all company showrooms across the country. Rio with a 1.3 liter CRDi4 diesel engine will be available at a base price of Rs.6.7 lakhs and will be available in a variety of four standard colors of black, white, red and silver.
Speaking of this particular high performance engine, which is also seen in use by some of the country's leading manufacturers, this makes servicing and part procurement easier and more effective. The engine being BS4 emission compliant means that it will enhance drivability offering 19 kmpl fuel efficiency on city roads and on the highway.
Premier Limited has sales and service network of 55 dealers which is being increased to 100 by the end of this year. About 200 authorized service outlets called Premier Authorised Service Stations of PASS will also be set up which will be equipped to handle service of the Rio SUV.
Premier Limited is also noted for the manufacture of Premier Roadstar which is a 1.5 ton LCV while their minivan is called Premier Sigma. Besides these vehicles the company is well versed with CNC machine tool industry and is supplier of heavy engineering components to a variety of wind energy and infrastructure units.
