Audi strengthened its presence in Maharashtra by opening its 20th showroom in Navi Mumbai. According to Mr. Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India, it was a boon for the company to find an associate in the persona of Mr Anand Rao, head of Aadya Motors. Audi has a set a sales target of 8,000 cars in 2012 and is looking towards car consumers in Maharashtra to help them make this happen.
The showroom has been set in a prominent Mumbai mall and has a floor space area of about 5,100 sq ft. there is a display area for 6 cars and the showroom will have an exclusive area where customers can choose to buy Audi merchandize ranging from spares to custom made parts for vehicles.
The Audi showroom in Navi Mumbai will also manage the spacious 28,000 sq. ft facility in Turbhe. This facility has the capacity of servicing 15 cars in a single shift. There are a total of 10 service bays in this facility. Technicians at this facility are well trained to provide customers with an Audi experience.
Audi models include the new Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi A7 Sportback, Audi A8L, Audi Q3, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, Audi S4, Audi RS5 Coupé and Audi TT Coupé, the super sports car Audi R8 and the Audi R8 Spyder are available in select cities in the country.
Apart from this, Audi India also launched their all new A8 L 4.2l TDI in India.
