Considered the best selling luxury SUV, 2013 Fortuner is now fitted with a range of accessories right from a chrome finished scoop cover for its bonnet to chrome finishes seen on exhaust tip, door handle housing and headlamp surrounds. Door cladding, lighter scuff plate and front grille guard is also new to the 2013 Fortuner. Interiors boast of new fabric floor mat, fabric boot mat and heads up display besides ambient lighting for driver foot well, a washable luggage tray and rubber floor mats and window visors. Besides adding aesthetic appeal, technical specifications have also been enhanced.

The new Toyota Fortuner will still continue with its 3.0 liter 4 cylinder diesel engine which will offer 177 bhp peak power and 343 Nm torque.
