Mr. Anand Mahindra has announced a special development program titled MPOWER. This course is designed to be run by IIM Ahmedabad as Knowledge partner and will undertake to help professionalize the Indian Trucking Industry.
This announcement was made on the sidelines of Mahindra Transport Excellence Awards Ceremony – 2012 wherein 30 young transport entrepreneurs will attend a 14 day program at IIM Ahmedabad.
Mahindras have made it their endeavor to bring about a change in the Indian commercial vehicle industry. The company will be working at various levels while on the way to ensure a sea change in this particular avenue of transportation. Though a strong service network, excellent service backup are essential it is also necessary to bring about change in the form of thought which is what Mahindras have been doing through their various initiatives such as Mahindra Transport Excellence Awards and Outperformers’ league. Mahindra MPOWER is a 14 day course which commenced on 23rd January 2013 and will conclude on 5th February 2013.
The course consists of a batch of 30 Youth Transport Entrepreneurs and will include field visits, external workshops while the company has also organized special Guest lectures to be conducted by experts in the industry.
