Jaguar Land Rover will recruit 150+ apprentices for their 2013 training programme, about 90 Advanced and 60 Higher Apprenticeships. MINI is going to recruit 32 new recruits and 13 later.
Enthusiastic youngsters can now approach their automobile dream jobs as they will be given an opportunity to apply for an apprenticeship program at MINI Plant, Oxford. The company is going to recruit 32 new recruits for their Oxford Plant in August while 13 more will be recruited for Swindon and Hams Hall near Birmingham.
These apprentices will be taken on for a period of three to four years. They will receive training in various avenues of automobile manufacture right from human resources to business, electrical maintenance and engineering. Besides imparting on ground training, the apprentices will receive a NVQ level three qualification while some will progress upto degree level.
The company’s Oxford Plant sports new training school with state of the art classrooms equipped with computer areas and a fully fledged workshop. The aim of this program is to attract the best of young talent and to impart all round training and development in automotive engineering.
Jaguar Land Rover will recruit 150+ apprentices for their 2013 training programme, about 90 Advanced and 60 Higher Apprenticeships. Those training will take on manufacturing and product development roles at JLR’s West Midlands and North West plants including the new advanced engine manufacturing facility being constructed at South Staffordshire.
