2013 Audi S8 sports model will debut nationally at the 2012 NFL season which got off to a start on 5th September 2012. The football season commenced with an advertising and marketing campaign for this upcoming model with a special 60 second TV sport specially reserved for the model during the games.
With a tag line as "Heighten Every Moment" the campaign is specially designed to catch the attention of audience who also witnessed the kick off of the NFL games, which proved to be a perfect platform for Audi to launch this high performance model.
Audi was looking forward to being part of the action where the Super Bowl XLVII was concerned. Football has always been part of the Audi tradition and launch of their new super sports model at this event is something that is in keeping with tradition as well.
Audi S models S6, S7 and S8 have a proven track record. They are part of Audi's award winning technologies and are seen with TFSI and Quattro all wheel drive engines. The Audi S8 offers 520hp through its 4.0T twin turbo V8 engine mated to a 8 speed automatic Tiprtonic transmission. Acceleration from 0 to 60 mph is possible in just 3.9 seconds. The other two Audi S models S6 and S7 are fitted with the same engine while offering 420hp mated to a 7 speed double clutch S tronic transmission.
