Commenting on last month's sales Mr. Sandeep Singh, Deputy Managing Director, Marketing said "We have registered a growth this month based on good sales of Etios, Innova and Fortuner. We launched the All New Camry last month and have received an overwhelming response with 111 orders. We have dispatched 60 untis last month. The Camry is being locally manufactured at an exclusive assembly line in our second plant. We hope to see the Toyota family of happy customers grow bigger, with this latest offering in our line up. The local production of Camry will help us to cater to more customers in this segment.

We have announced the revision in prices of all our models by around 1.5%, due to the impact of rupee depreciation. This will be effective from 1 Sept 2012.  We contained the rise in costs for as long as we could, but are now forced to pass it on to our customers."
