Mahindra Quanto mini SUV official launch on 20th September

Mahindra Quanto is ready to be launched in Indian auto markets, much to the relief of auto enthusiasts. Car buyers have been eagerly awaiting for the launch of Mahindra Quanto, as it has every chance of becoming the cheapest SUV in India. Mahindra will reveal Quanto price and more details on the 20th September when it is officially launched.

One interesting fact of the new Mahindra Quanto is that it can easily fit in any of the three segments, hatchback, SUV and MPV. Another plus point is the fact that Mahindra & Mahindra has managed to keep measurements under 4 meters and hence pricing will be at an advantage as government taxes will be minimized. Based the Xylo MPV, Quanto is also expected to be a major crowd puller once it is launched.

To be launched approximately one year after the launch of Mahindra XUV500, Quanto is expected to feature a third row seating which will help accommodate 7 passengers, thanks to third row seats are which will be foldable so as to accommodate additional luggage in the boot compartment if need be.

Quanto pricing is expected to be in the region of Rs.5 lakhs. Amazingly, Quanto will compete with none other than the Premier Rio in India. Coming into markets on 20th of this month is even more noteworthy for the fact that Mahindra Quanto will be able to take advantage of the upcoming Diwali festive season when car sales increase exponentially.
