Nokia Lumia 820 and 920 cause a flutter

Images of the upcoming Nokia Lumia 820 and 920 have emerged. A look at the images tells you Nokia is targeting youth with these smartphones. Nokia’s smartphones with Windows 8 are going to be available in an array of bright colors. The 920 is expected to have a 4.5 inch screen while the 820 will sport a 4.3 inch display. Nokia’s flagship PureView technology on 920 has evoked interest from tech enthusiasts from all over the world.

Images of the 820 and 920 smartphones with NFC compatible accessories, speaker and earphone in particular have emerged on numerous tech websites. The rush of blood to the head for tech junkies was a picture that revealed the upcoming devices will make use of a charging pad instead of the conventional charger.

All a user will have to do is place the smartphone on the pad to charge via induction. Although this feature scores high with every smartphone enthusiast, the authenticity of the picture has been dismissed by tech experts. If you take a look at the image closely, you can tell it is not an actual product image but rather a cleverly created artificial image. Although sources claim the image is authentic, not many would agree. However, what’s caused a flutter is the fact that Chinese tech website CoolXap.com has posted images what is claimed to be the Lumia 820 and the images have a striking resemblance to the image that showcases the Nokia smartphone on the pad.
