McLaren teases upcoming supercar for Paris debut: Coincides with F1's 20th anniversary

McLaren Automotive has just released a teaser image of what their new supercar, which will finally be revealed to audience at the upcoming 2012 Paris Motor Show at the end of this month. This model may only be a concept as on date but will be brought in to mark the celebrations of the 20th anniversary of their legendary F1.

The teased model showcases twin bonnet nostrils and air vents, tapering bonnet and smaller headlights than the 12C while F1 style air intakes for the mid mounted engine are also viewed. Codenamed P12, the McLaren model will possess an external body seen with a monocell carbon fibre chassis while exterior panels are made of light weight carbon fiber as against body of MP4-12C which is all aluminum.

The engine of this concept model will be based on MP4-12C 3.8 liter turbocharged V8 engine with KERS style hybrid system. The high performer is stated to be capable of offering a minimum of 800 hp. More images and details will be revealed once McLaren reveals this car at the Paris Motor Show.
