Hawker Pacific has been appointed as the authorized dealer for GippsAERO products in the ASEAN region. GippsAERO is an Australian based manufacturing arm of Mahindra Aerospace which sees to the manufacture of GA8 Airvan which is a utility aircraft. Hawker Pacific will see to sales of the GA8 and GA10 aircrafts and will oversee and represent GippsAERO products across ten countries.
Apart from this, Hawker Pacific will be required to provide services to GippsAERO aircrafts in this region. By enlisting Hawker Pacific, Mahindra Aero Space hopes to expand their market in the Asia-Pacific region and create awareness for the GA8 model and futuristic GA10 model.
The GA8 is a single engine piston powered aircraft exclusively used for utility needs. This aircraft is available in a normally aspirated version or turbocharged version suited for various needs like medivac, search and rescue, Special Ops missions, Humanitarian aid as also passenger and freight transport. Salient features of this aircraft include low noise footprint, lowered amount of carbon emissions as also economical flight handling characteristics.
