Ford Transit and Transit Connect 2014 van variants with EcoBoost revealed

Ford plans on offering their new Transit commercial van in a choice of options best suited to customers in a particular region. European customers will be offered a choice of front, rear or all wheel drive versions while Transit is being fitted with a 2.2 liter Duratorq TDCi diesel inline-four engine. US markets will however receive the Transit only with a rear wheel drive with a 3.5 liter EcoBoost V6 engine. 
Ford has revealed their all new 2014 variant Transit van Transit Connect in Amsterdam. For will produce the new Transit van their plant in Kansas City, Missouri together with the F-150 pickup, Transit will also be offered in European markets by the end of the 2013.

Ford Transit and Transit Connect is the first step being taken by Ford to upgrade their van lineup in Europe which they plan on launching by the end of 2013. These two models will be seen with class leading features and capabilities which have been engineered at Ford's Centre of Excellence for Commercial Vehicles in Europe.

The vehicles will be 25% enhanced where fuel economy is concerned as compared to the Ford E Series. Both these models will be offered in a choice of roof heights and wheelbases with better load carrying facilities. Transit and Transit Connect will be available both in long and short wheelbase versions with innovative features which will add to dependability and practicality.
