Aston Martin Zagato 2012 gets even more exclusive

The Aston Martin V12 Zagato has become one of the most exclusive sports cars ever to be built with the company deciding to cut down production from 150 units to only 101. It's not known whether this announcement is in response to low demands or other factors. In view of this cut in production it can be safely assumed that those who have signed up for this €400,000 coupe will end up paying much more.

The V12 Zagato is powered by a 6.0 liter v12 engine that spits out 510 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual transmission put the power to the rear wheel drive allowing for one to race efficiently and safely. This car design did not come from the belly of the car maker but was the result of a design contest.

The Aston Martin V12 Zagato consists of an aluminum and carbon fiber body making it lightweight and easy to handle. Each of these cars will take about 2,000 man hours to build which includes 100 hours of paint job alone. Combination of the V12 engine and carbon fiber body, will make this a super rare super car to be watched out for.
