Kangoo and Kangoo Express ENERGY dCi 75 and 90 lower their CO2 emissions to 112 g/km by September 2013

It was at last year's Geneva Motor Show that Renault showcased its Kangoo equipped with Energy dCi 90 diesel engine in an endeavor to project low emission technologically advanced vehicles. Energy dCi 110 is one such engine will also powers Kangoo ZE resulting in top in their class where fuel efficiency and auto emissions are concerned.

The company has been in continuous improvement in both energy efficiency and reduction of emission and has been successful in reducing emission in the Renault Kangoo and Kangoo Express. Here it is seen that emissions are limited to 129g/km of CO2 with dCi 75 and 90 and 112g/km of CO2 with Energy dCi 75 and 90 versions. This is primarily due to a new Start/Stop and Energy Smart Management that enhances energy efficiency and reduced auto emissions a great deal.

Due to this new record, Kangoo will strengthen their leadership position across Europe. Kangoo is offered in three wheelbase options – Compact, Express and Maxi. In the first six months of this year the vehicle accounted for 18.6% sales. It is also offered in two drive train options – Combustion and Electric.
