BMW 3 Series GT spied: Concept might be unveiled at Paris

BMW 3 Series GT, codenamed F34, is expected to be unveiled as a concept at the Paris Motor Show in September this year. It will be both practical and versatile, and sport a more swooping roof line, a short boot lid and SUV like hatch tailgate. 2013 BMW 3 Series GT will sit on a longer wheelbase and wider track to occupy a four wheel drive transmission while it will also be offered as a rear drive.

From the images here, which appeared on GermanCarForum, considering its new bodystyle, the vehicle will be a lot heavier as compared to the saloon. It is expected to be available in the same engines from the saloon which will include a 161 hp 2.0 liter diesels and extending upto the 302 bhp 3.0 liter six cylinder seen in the 335i.

BMW 3 Series GT will be positioned between X3 SUV and 3 Series Touring estate. Prices will commence from £33,000 while it is expected to reach company showrooms by early 2013 after its debut at this year's Paris Motor Show.
