Lamborghini Batman gets himself a custom made Batmobile

Earlier this year, Lenny B Robinson of Maryland, US donned a Batman costume and sped across town in a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder. He was pulled over by the cops due to his rather suspicious countenance. After making headlines the world over for his sting, the Lamborghini Batman is back, and this time he has a real Batmobile.

Lenny R Robinson took delivery of his custom-made Batmobile in June and is continuing with his charitable mission to act as super hero to sick kids. He has spent a major part of this month at Coeur d'Alena, Idaho where he has appeared in parades and making appearances at children's hospitals. He has also attended the opening of Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Rises in Maryland.

His so called "Bat Mobile" is built to 1960s bat specifications based on the 1959 Lincoln Futura concept. It was built from scratch with a urethane body shell worked Ford V8 and C6 transmission. Talking about his Bat visits, Robinson says, "It feels like I have a responsibility that's beyond a normal person. And that responsibility is to be there for the kids, to be strong for them, and to make them smile as much as I can."
