2013 Buick Encore is the most fuel efficient crossover from a American car maker

General Motors has announced the launch of their new 2013 Buick Encore small crossover. This vehicle is slated for sale in US markets during the first quarter of 2013. It will be a highly fuel efficient vehicle offering 25 miles per gallon in city limits and 33 mpg on the highway, 28 MPG combined, which according to Buick is the best in the industry from an American car maker.

2013 Buick Encore will be offered in all wheel and front wheel drive system powered by a 1.4 liter turbocharged inline four petrol engine offering 138 hp and 148 lb/ft torque which makes it the best fuel efficient crossover vehicle offered by GM even taking into consideration the highly fuel efficient vehicles such as 2013 Ford Escape and Jeep Compass.

According to General Motors, every Encore owner will spend approximately $2,100 less in fuel costs over a period of five years considering that the average expenditure is $420 per year. As per the company, Encore fuel costs will be estimated at $1,900 per year which is the lowest of any of the 2013 model year crossovers sold in the US.
