2013 Nissan Almera sedan launched in Russia

Nissan Almera recently made its way into Russian markets after being unveiled at the ongoing 16th Moscow International Motor Show 2012 (MIMS). This vehicle is a four door, five seater model with a longer wheelbase adding plenty of space in its cabin and ample room in its boot.

Powered by a 1.6 liter 16 valve motor fuel engine, Almera is capable of 102 hp and 145 Nm torque mated to either a five speed or four speed transmission. Nissan Almera will be offered in three grades – Welcome, Comfort and top end Tekna once it makes its way into company showrooms.

While Comfort and Welcome will be fitted with standard accessories, it is Tekna model which will be fitted with air conditioning, rear power windows, an audio system with four speakers, leather wrapped steering wheel and 15" alloy wheels and will be the only car in its class available in Russia will fully integrated navigation system. Being designed specially for Russian markets, the Almera is fitted with special demands to take care of severe weather conditions. Almera is expected to go on sale early next year but pricing is still under wraps.
