Toyota 2013 Mark X sports sedan gets set for launch in Japanese markets


Mark X is a midsized vehicle with similar platform as seen in the Toyota Crown or Lexus GS. It possesses a V6 engine and is offered in a choice of rear wheel or all wheel drive, with 6 speed automatic transmission. The 2013 model is being offered with the same choice of engines – 2.5 liter and 3.5 liter producing 272 hp and 314 hp respectively. 2013 Mark X sports a new front end, new headlamps with Bi-Xenon and LED daytime lights, a new grille with a prominent "X" dead centre while there are also new tail lamps, restructured bumper and front headlights to go with it.

Toyota has unveiled their new 2013 Mark Sports Sedan which is heading to Japan markets later this year. The vehicle will be priced from ¥2,440,000 (US$30,500) for the base 2.5L model while the upper end 3.5L G's version will be priced at ¥4,200,000 (US$53,400).

New interior and exterior colors are being offered while interiors are seen with leather encased steering wheel and shifter with red accents. There is a white instrument panel, black sport seats again with matching red accents and stitching and a carbon fiber trim. Besides accents to enhance looks, Toyota has also added a refined chassis which enhances handling and makes the vehicle quieter with the use of damping material.
