BMW cars for Police to be unveiled soon

BMW will be presenting their 2013 collection of Policecars and VIP vehicles at the upcoming General Police Equipment Exhibition & Conference (GPEC) in Leipzig. A total of five cars will include the BMW 3 Series Touring, BMW X3, 7 Series High Security, X5 Security and i3 Concept while the two wheeler bikes will be the BMW R1200RT, G650GS, F800ST and K1600GT.

These special vehicles will be displayed at the BMW pavilion and each of these vehicle will be fitted with special features which would make them suitable and effective for use by German federal and state police. These outstanding features will include iDrive controlled sirens and LED beacons. BMW's i3 Concept electric vehicle will be specially useful for urban areas where auto emissions need to be at their optimum. Taking the 2 Series High Security and X5 into account, these are armored vehicles meeting standard specifications.

The super efficient motorcycles from BMW specially designed for use by police force will be seen with new colors and engine updates. G650GS will sport a new military bronze-green color and will be seen with three other models at upcoming General Police Equipment Exhibition & Conference to be held in September.
