Auto enthusiasts in Chandigarh got a chance to catch the first glimpse of the new luxury sports car from Aston Martin. The Vanquish was revealed in Chandigarh earlier this month. Chandigarh became the third city in India where Vanquish arrived officially. Aston Martin Vanquish is available in India at a price of Rs 3.85 crores.
Vanquish is powered by a 6.0 liter V12 petrol engine offering 565 bhp at 6750 rpm and 620 Nm torque at 5500 rpm. With a price as high as Rs.3.85 crores obviously this Aston Martin must possess all the trimmings of a super luxurious vehicle where engineering, performance and features are concerned which makes it stand apart in competition.
The Aston Martin Vanquish will possess a top speed of 295 kmph and abilities to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.1 seconds. Mr Sanjeev Hazari , Director, Aston Martin, New Delhi, stated that this supercar is specially built for long distance travel while it is a suitable sports car for daily commuting as well. Being launched in Chandigarh, Aston Martin Vanquish 2012 first deliveries will begin by early 2013 in Chandigarh and Punjab which are tagged as potential markets for this high priced vehicle.
