Jonathan Start successful at Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car B-Spec Championship

Tim Kuniskis, head of FIAT Brand for N America, Chrysler Group LLC congratulated Jonathan in his winning of the series championships. He acknowledged the hard work put into his efforts which enabled him to achieve these records but also credited the strong engineering behind their Cinquecento which has seen success not only in America but in Europe as well.

Fiat 500 Driver Jonathan Start finished fifth in the Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car B-Spec Championship held on Sunday. The 40 minute event saw Start with two fourth place finishes in Saturday's 25 minute race to clinch his title at the 1.99 mile road circuit which featured 12 turns. Held at the Sonoma Raceway, the Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car B-Spec Championship

Earlier in April this year, Start succeeded at the inaugural season of Touring Car B Spec competition with not one but two wins at Miller Motorsports Park in Utah. Later in June, in Canada, for Tire Motorsports Park events Start posted three third place finishes and now with this latest success it proves that the year 2012 has been a list of successes for Fiat and Start who concentrated more on the title and less on his individual race wins.
