A three wheeler motorcycle that not only saves fuel money but cleans the environment as well, has been revealed by Toto Ltd., a Japanese toilet company. This poop powered motorcycle is capable of travelling upto 300 kms on a tank full of poop. The bike also goes one step further in functioning as a toilet for the rider as well.
It has a toilet in place of a normal seat and a roll of toilet paper in tow. However this human poop is not suitable for use as fuel as the engine is designed only to run on livestock waste and sewage. The Toilet Bike Neo design has been under development since 2009 and was revealed on Thursday at the company showroom in Fujisawa.
It uses a 250cc engine and runs on biogas fuel which is fertilized, purified and compressed livestock waste and household waste water. This green bike was just a prototype which was revealed and it remains to be seen whether the poop powered three wheeler will actually go into production.
