German Tuning Company, Vath have tuned Mercedes Benz E500 giving it a new V50S performance package. It is this performance package that not only enhances power to the E500 but also gives it a bit more attitude. Vath has offered reprogrammed software to E500, added a new air cooling system and sports exhaust system while the electronic speed limited is now retired.
Output of the E500 is enhanced from 402 hp to 511 hp while peak torque is increased from 600 Nm to 810 Nm. The package also increases ability to sprint from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 kmph) in 4.5 seconds while reaching a maximum speed of 186 mph (300 kmph).
A braking system with 390 mm discs and 6 piston calipers have also been added while the vehicle is seen with 245/30-20 front tyres and 285/25-20 rear tyres fitted onto 20" alloy wheels. Additional enhancements are seen in the new sport steering wheel in all leather with options of carbon or wood trims and a new speedometer clocking upto 223 mph. The Vath V50S enhancement package costs €32,250 inclusive of VAT.
