WickedLeak launches 3G Dual Sim Whammy Note with 5 inch screen and Android 4.0 at a price of Rs, 11,300

Before Samsung could unveil its newest phablet, the hybrid Galaxy Note II, WickedLeak has gone ahead and launched its phone-cum-tablet named Whammy Note. Considering majority of buyers in India are fascinated by low priced large screen devices, we believe the Whammy Note will do good sales.

Priced at Rs 11,300 this phablet has a five point multi touch screen with a pixel resolution of 480 x 800. This WickedLeak device has an 8 megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash and a 0.3 megapixel front camera. The device comes with a MTK6575 1 GHz CPU and 512 MB RAM. Features included in this device are Wi-Fi with hotspot, Bluetooth 2.0, Gravity sensor, Assisted GPS, and handwriting recognition.

This dual-sim device weighs 192 grams and is 12 mm thick. The 2500 mAh battery when fully charged is good for talktime of 8 hours. Audio formats supported by Whammy Note are AWB, MP3, AMR and WAV. Video formats supported by are MPEG4, and 3GP. Needless to say, this device has a striking resemblance to a pioneering Korean device. Is Samsung taking Note?
