Three Android 2.3 CDMA Phones starting from Rs 5500 launched by MTS

MTS is relatively new in India but has managed to gain ground within a short span of time. The company has launched three CDMA smartphones in the Indian market, the MTag 351, the MTag 352 and MTag 281. All smartphones run Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

Powered by an 800 Mhz Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 processor the three phones are stylishly designed. The company has announced a special unlimited data plan on 351 and 351 smartphone models whereby local calling from MTS to MTS will be free for 3 months and a 1p/second rate will be charged for other local and national calls made.

The data plan for MTag 281 remains almost the same the only difference being a1p/2 seconds for three months on local calls. Although these offers seem hard to resist there are conditions that apply with these plans. Common features included in the three phones are FM radio, Assisted GPS, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, and Wi-Fi. All three devices have a 3 megapixel camera. MTag 281 is priced at 5500, MTag 351 at Rs 7500 and MTag 352 at Rs 6500.
