Chevrolet to reveal updated Beat / Spark, Malibu and Orlando in Paris

At the Paris Motor Show next month, Chevy will be debuting the 2013 Spark (known as Beat in India), Orlando turbo MPV and Malibu Diesel. The Beat sub compact model has enabled Chevrolet to capture the European market and with this new and updated model, Chevy hopes to create demand once again.

The new 2013 Beat has a new fascia which includes a restyled front grille and front bumper with head lamp covers and fog lamps. The interiors have been modeled keeping in mind design and enhanced storage space. The Spark will be powered by the 1.0L 68 hp and 1.2L 82 hp gasoline engines. These engines return mileage specs of 5.0l/100 km.

The Orlando minivan range has been expanded with the inclusion of a 1.4L turbo charged engine capable of producing power of 138 hp and 200 Nm of torque. This engine variant has been added to the existing 1.8L gasoline and 2.0L diesel engines. The new variant is provided with start/stop functionality and returns an average of 6.2l/100 km. The engine has been fitted with a six speed manual transmission system which guarantees good driving stability.

Electronic power steering and start/stop functionality have been incorporated within the variants 2.0L diesel engine. A rear view mirror as also a folding front passenger seat has been added in this model. Keeping up the surprises, the 2013 Malibu sedan will be fitted with a 2.0l diesel engine capable of producing 158 hp and 350 Nm of torque. The Malibu currently, can be booked and ordered through European dealerships by prospective buyers.
